ABOUT THE ARTIST

 

     Affectionately dubbed "paparazzi" by her friends, Gina has carried a camera around since long before the advent of mobile photography. Gifted her first point-and-shoot camera in elementary school, Gina's early fascination with capturing the essence of people and the events in her life set the stage for a lifelong passion.

 

     Taking her love for photography to a formal level, Gina pursued art education at the post-secondary level, refining what many recognize as an innate talent. Today, those same friends who once lamented being incessantly photographed now eagerly request Gina's presence with her camera at their events.

 

     Equally inspired by distant travels and everyday life, Gina resides in the historically magnificent Hudson Valley, whose natural beauty and change of seasons are frequent inspirations for her work. With a unique blend of skill and passion, Gina continues to weave visual stories that capture the essence of her surroundings and the people who inhabit them.
